Fire Features with Firegear Outdoors

February 4 | 10am–2pm

Stop subcontracting your fire accessory installation! After this training with Wes Ianotti from Firegear, you’ll be able to complete the necessary math to install firegear products to install your fire feature design.

Landscape Lighting 101 with Dauer Manufacturing

February 10 | 10am–2pm

As a contractor or landscape company, the benefits of adding landscape lighting to your services are a no-brainer! You’ll leave this seminar with the knowledge to analyze all landscape lighting options (solid brass fixtures and low voltage lamps), identifty how each fixture can be used in the design process, design a plan to install the fixtures based on the landscape and property layout, and develop an effective maintenance program for clients.

Program presenter, Woody Luke, has been in the landscape lighting business for over 25 years, specializing in low voltage design and installation. He currently works for Dauer Manufacturing and will walk you through the design process from start to finish!

This program has been pre-approved for 3.5 ICPI Continuing Education Credits. Certification and paperwork provided at the conclusion of this one-day workshop.

A Retaining Wall That Won't Fall with VERSA-LOK

February 19 | 9am–3:30pm

Build a better bottom line for your landscaping business with hardscape training by VERSA-LOK Retaining Wall Systems. Unique construction allows unmatched design flexibility, ease of installation and durability. That means lower installation costs on each job- and that’s good for business!

Taught by NCMA-Certified Instructor, Chad Johnson, you’ll learn the fundamentals of installation, estimating, design, and finishing details with the company that set the standard in segmental retaining wall systems. Chad will teach you how to incorporate curves, multi-angle corners, stairs, freestanding walls and columns into your landscaping projects– all without special units.

This seminar is approved for 6 Credits of ICPI Installer Continuing Education! Certificates and proper paperwork provided at the completion of the one-day course.

OPTIONAL NCMA CERTIFICATION AVAILABLE!

We are pleased to offer you the option of becoming an NCMA-Certified Segmental Retaining Wall Installer at this event. Those wishing to become certified may take the NCMA test immediately following the seminar. There is an additional $150 fee paid to the NCMA for the test. Bring a check to the seminar, payable to NCMA. Cash and credit card are not accepted. Do not send test payments to VERSA-LOK or Greendell / Musselman Landscape Solutions.

Paver Maintenance with B.P. Pro

February 26 | 10am–2pm

Just like any other investment, proper maintenance is key to portection and longevity! Quality product application is a must at every step of the way. At the end of this short course with B.P. Pro, you’ll be able to differentiate chemicals and substrate application, understand joint stabilization, know the “do’s and don’ts” in the harscape industry, and be able to estimate and sell paver remediation.

Course instructor Sean Allison represents B.P. Pro and and 32 years of experience in the hardscape industry as a contractor, manufacturer’s rep, and industry educator.
